Shore A Durometer
Digital Shore A durometer for rubbers, and soft plastics with LCD display, Hold and Zero functions
The SH-A is a digital hardness tester designed to measure Shore A hardness on soft materials: thermoplastic elastomers (TPE, TPU), vulcanized natural and synthetic rubbers, silicones, and flexible plastics in general.
Compliant with ASTM D2240 and ISO 7619, it features a spring-loaded Shore A indenter module, a large, easy-to-read LCD display with a 0–100 scale and 0.1° resolution, a Hold function to freeze the reading, and a Zero function to reset the instrument.
It allows for both instantaneous readings (peak value upon load application) and time-delayed readings (typically 15 seconds) to account for the material’s viscoelastic relaxation.
Can be used handheld or mounted on the DTS bench stand (optional).
The system comes with a protective case and a calibration certificate. Dimensions: 5.6×8.5×2.5 cm.
