Manual lever press for die-cutting specimens from plastics, rubbers, films, foils and textiles

The MSP is a manual press for producing standardized test specimens in compliance with international standards such as ASTM D412, D638, ISO 527, and many others, from plastics, rubbers, fabrics, foils, and papers.
It is ideal for low-volume laboratories or applications where cost and space requirements must be minimized.

The press requires two-handed operation to ensure operator safety and has a throat depth of 105 mm; the system is capable of generating a maximum cutting force of 6 kN, allowing for the cutting of material thicknesses up to 5 mm, depending on the type of material.
The quick-change die system allows the cutting geometry to be changed in a matter of seconds; the arbor is height-adjustable to accommodate dies of different thicknesses.
The MSP unit comes with a natural polypropylene cutting base (30×25 cm).

Optional accessories include a cast nylon cutting board and cutting dies compliant with any ASTM/ISO/DIN/JISK standard, non standard arbors can also be manufactured to suit unique requirements.
