Precision linear cutter for rectangular specimens from films, foils and paper with interchangeable heads from 0.25 to 150 mm

The FSC is a linear cutter designed for the rapid production of parallel rectangular specimens from polymer films, metal foils, and paper, intended for tensile and tear testing in accordance with ASTM and ISO standards.

It is ideal for materials where conventional die-cutting is not recommended due to thickness or required length.
The spring-loaded cutting head is guided by a precision linear slide over its entire 455 mm stroke (sufficient for A4 size). An integrated clamping bar secures the material during cutting; the recessed base accepts a self-sealing cutting pad to extend blade life.
The cutting heads are interchangeable in widths from 0.25 to 150 mm; available in single or multi-strip configurations to cut multiple samples in a single pass. Standard blades are made of stainless steel; TiN- or PTFE-coated blades are available for extended durability.

The gantry structure allows for direct feed from a roll.
