Apparatus consisting of 1,000 cm³ cylinder with metric-scale plunger for flakes, fibres and strands

BDA-ASTM D1895-C system for measuring bulk density in accordance with Method C of ASTM D1895, specifically designed for materials that cannot be poured through a funnel: large flakes, chips, cut fibers, and strands, which are voluminous in their free state and compress under load.

Made of CNC-machined anodized aluminum to reduce electrostatic charges, it includes a 1,000 cm³ measuring cylinder and a weighted piston with a metric scale graduated in 1 mm increments and lifting handles, capable of holding up to 2.5 kg of lead ballast.

Optional accessories: 3 kg lead weight, analytical balance 0.01 g / 1,100 g.
